79th Independence Day Celebration 2025

On August 15, 2025 the entire nation is celebrating the Independence Day and hosting the national flag in schools colleges, offices, public places and other instituitions. This day is celebrating and remembering every year for the countrymen’s struggle for freedom and also it is an occasion to pay tribute to the freedom fighters for their sacrifices to make India free from British who ruled over India almost for 150 years. So this is a national festival for all Indians.

Every year, India celebrates this occasion. The prime Minister of India hoists the national flag at the Red Fort in Delhi and address the nation to marks the celebration of the 79th Independence of India. It was former, President Pratibha Patil, the first women, who had acted and played the highest constitutional post role in India’s history.

Har Ghar Tiranga celebration

As it has been mentioning, the Government of India had been organizing a series of events under “Adazi ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebrations as it is a Platinum Jubilee for India. The har ghar tiranga programme under which every citizen of India will hoist the national flag and upload selfie in the official website. 79th Independence Day Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

India this year 2025 is celebrating the events. “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign” under the special movement of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ which was launched since 2022. On this occasion every Indian is supposed to hoist the Indian National Flag on his/her house from 02 August to 15th August 2025.

At present, whatever India is or it has is the fruit of millennium Indians’ struggle and sacrifices. It is really a difficult task to count the martyrs. So what this special day is to pay tribute to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in gaining freedom from British.

Before Independence India was divide d into princely states but after a long bitter struggle Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chairman of the Drafting Committee of Constitution and many others converted princely states into single and united India. And India is the only country in the world where diversity is se en in caste, religion, creed, color, food, festivals, and language and so on. Although diversity is found in India, but unity is there. And so India and Indians will always try to be worthy of it.
