TS TET Eligibility Criteria 2025
In order to apply for Telangana TET Applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria for each paper. If any candidate fills online form, their candidature may lead to cancelation. So it is important to know the required eligibility criteria as mentioned by the concerned authority. The basic eligibility criteria for each paper have given below.
The applicants at the time of online application for TS-TET must fulfill the following minimum qualifications prescribed for (Paper- I) and (Paper – II) separately.
TS TET Eligibility Criteria for Paper-1 (Class 1 to 5)
Applicants should fulfill any one of the following eligibility criteria in order to apply online form of TS TET 2022.
| 1. Intermediate or Senior Secondary or its equivalent course with at least 50% marks. AND they should have passed 2 – years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed) or 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) Or 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR |
| 2. Intermediate or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks. AND pass in 2 – years Diploma in Elementary Education or 4-years (B.El.Ed.) or 2 – year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the applicants who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines ( 23-12-2015) OR |
| 3. Graduation with at least 50% marks and pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Bachelor of Education (Special Education) |
Note: 5% relaxation in the minimum qualification marks will be provided to SC. ST. BC. And Differently Abled applicants according to the norms of the government.
TS TET Eligibility Criteria for Paper-2 (Class 6 to 8)
| Applicants must have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com, with at least 50% marks. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) / Bachelor of Education B.Ed in Special Education. |
| B.A. /B.Sc. /B.Com. with at least 50% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed., course before to issue of these guidelines (23-12-2015). |
| 4-years B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. |
| Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers. |
| B.E/B.Tech with at least 50% marks and Passed / Pursuing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education). In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. |
Note: The applicants, who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education OR Diploma in Elementary Education etc., are also eligible to appear for TET Examination. How to apply TS TET Application Form 2025
- First visit the official website of TSTET that is tstet.cgg.gov.in
- Then in the right corner at the homepage, click on the link “Apply online”.
- Then fill the required details like mobile number, name, date of birth, domicile etc.
- And Pay the TSTET registration fees via available online payment gateway.
- After successful payment, keep the transaction ID saves.
- A registration id and password will be sent to the email ID of the applicants.
- Then login by using the registration id and password And.
- Fill the online form with entering your personal details, contact details, and educational details very carefully.
- And select the papers you wish to appear i.e. for Paper-I or Paper-2 or both papers.
- Then upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature along with others required documents.
- Then submit the application form.
- After the successful online apply, the applicants should keep a printout of the filled application form and their ID number for further purpose.
