WB SET 2025 Application Form
The registration process for West Bengal SET 2025 started from first August 2025 and continued till 10September2025. Candidates willing to appear the West Bengal SET Exam for the year 2025 must submit the application form online within the scheduled date. Every year WB College Service Commission of West Bengal will be conducting the examination to determine the eligibility of the candidate for Assistant Teacher in various colleges and universities across the states in West Bengal.
West Bengal SLET Exam Date 2025
WB College Service Commission will conduct the SET Exam on 14 December 2025 at different exam centresacross the states. In order to maintain a uniform standard of Graduate and post graduate teaching throughout the states and to determine the eligible candidates for a post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of universities and colleges. The State Level Eligibility Test is conducted every year by the College Service Commission of west Bengal.
The SET Exam is conducted on 2 papers that is Paper 1 and Paper 2. In order to qualify the test applicants should know the details WB SLET Syllabus, paper-1 is a compulsory subject and the paper-2 is the candidate opted for. West Bengal SET 2025 Exam Pattern
The WB SET Exam in conducted in two different papers such as Paper 1 and paper 2. The exam pattern and marking scheme is below.
- The paper 1 session from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM (1 hour)
- Paper 2- session from 12:00 AM to 02:00 AM (2 hours)
- First paper contains 50 MCQs questions (All ques are compulsory)
- Paper 2 contains 100 MCQs questions (All ques are compulsory)
- Each questions carry 2 marks

WB SET 2025 Application Fee

The WB SET Eligibility Criteria 2025
Aspirants who have secured at least 55% marks in their Mater Degree or its equivalent from a UGC Recognised University are eligible for this test.
In case of SC, ST, PWD, OBC belonging to non-creamy layer who have secured 50% marks in their Master Degree or its equivalent are eligible for SET exam 2025.

Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for the SET 2025.
SET Exam Syllabus 2025
The Paper 1 is a compulsory paper for all the candidates. This paper is design in order to assess the teaching and research aptitude of the candidate. The paper 1 contains the following topic-
