NTA will be conducting the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2024 in order to take admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2024-25. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to CBSE. They prepare cadets to join the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other Training Academies, for Officers.

AISSEE 2024 Exam Date

The All India Sainik School Entrance Exam 2024 Date for Classes 6 and 9 will take place on 28th January 2024.

AISSEE Exam Day Guidelines 28 January 2024
- Before taking the AISSEE 2024 exam, students must have their admit card in hand.
- Admit Card will not be delivered by mail to the applicant.
- No students
- who does not full fill the requirements to take the test will receive an admit card.
- The exam mode is Paper pencil on OMR answer sheets for admission to both Class VI and Class IX.
- Questions are Multiple Choice Questions
- The exam booklett for class 6 will be in English medium only.
- Students who secure a minimum of 25 percent marks in each subject and overall 40 % marks in AISSEE are eligible for admission to various Sainik Schools across india.
- Exam duration of Class 6 is 150 minutes
- Exam time for admission to Class 9 is 180 minutes.

ABOUT AISSEE 2024
Sainik Schools Society (SSS) is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The Society runs Sainik Schools. Sainik Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to (CBSE). Sainik Schools prepare Cadets to join the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and other Training Academies for officers. At present there are a total of 33 Sainik Schools across the country.
The Sainik School offers admission at the level of Class VI and Class IX. The Admission is based on the performance of studnets in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE).
Ministry of Defence (MoD) has approved 35 New Sainik Schools, which function in partnership with NGOs/private schools/State Governments. These approved New Sainik Schools function under the aegis of Sainik Schools Society. These approved New Sainik Schools offer admission to the Sainik School stream of Class VI, through AISSEE 2024.
