The Assam CEE-2024 will be conducted on 2 June 2024 (Sunday) on various exam centers between 11:00AM-02:00 P.M. The online registration process for Assam CEE has begun from 14 March and continue until 3 April 2024 at www.astu.ac.in.

Assam CEE 2024- Overview

Eligibility Criteria for Assam CEE-2024

The applicants must check the eligibility criteria before apply online for Assam Combined Entrance Exam 2024. The complete details as given in the official notification. The basic Assam CEE 2024 eligibility criteria are as mentioned below.

Education Qualification

• The applicants belonging to unreserved category must have passed the qualifying examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in (PCM) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• For SC candidate 50% marks in aggregate whereas ST category candidate must have 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in aggregate.

Age Criteria

• The applicants should not be less than 17 years as on the date 1^st August. And the maximum age limit is 21 years.
• 3 years of age relaxation is provided in case of SC, ST category candidates.
• 1 year age relaxation in case of candidates with B.Sc degree.
• The candidate must be a citizen of India and permanent resident of Assam to appear in Assam CEE 2024.

Others Criteria

• The applicants are expected to have a good moral character & physically and mentally fit.

Appearing

•  The Students who are appearing in class-12 or 10+2 in 2024 can also apply for CEE 2024.

How to Fill up the Assam CEE 2024 Application Form?

In order to apply Assam CEE Online Application 2024, the students need to visit the official website of Assam Science and Technology University. The link is given below in the important link section. After that follow the instruction step by step as guided here to fill up the online form easily.

• First visit the official website of the university that is @astu.ac.in.
• Then in the homepage, click on “Assam CEE 2024- Apply Online Link”.
• Read the instructions carefully and proceed.
• Fill the Application form i.e. personal, education and other necessary details.
• Then upload the required documents, photograph, signature and others.
• And pay the application fee.
• After completing all these steps submit the online application form.
• Take the filled out Application form for further sue.

Note: The candidate is not required to send the hardcopy of the application form or any other documents to the university.

Assam CEE 2024 Exam Pattern

The CEE exam 2024 syllabus contains 3 sections namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will have 40 questions where 1 question carries 4 marks. Hence, there will be total 480 Marks. As we have mentioned 4 marks is credited to the students for one correct answer. Whereas 1 mark will be deduct in case of one incorrect answer. • Total number of questions will be 120.
• 1 question carries 4 marks hence, total marks in the exam is 480.
• Assam CEE Exam duration is 3 hrs only.
• There is a negative marking system in combined entrance examination.
• 1 mark will be deduct in case on 1 wrong answer.
• The exam syllabus contains 3 different sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• 40 questions will be aske d from each section.
• The section wise marks break up is as in the following table.

Assam Combined Entrance exam 2024 will be based on the syllabus of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The syllabus consist the following subjects as given along with the marks allotted to each sections.

Assam CEE Answer Key 2024

1. Provisional Answer Keys Uploaded on the website after 6:00 PM on the day of the examination.
2. Queries on Provisional Answer Keys Accepted through the online link on the website.
3. Challenges to Provisional Answer Keys must be submitte d within 48 hours of opening the online link.
4. Subject experts will examine all queries.
5. Results will be compile d based on the final answer key.
6. University’s decision on queries is final and Final answer key will be release on the website.
7. No further communication regarding answer keys after the submission deadline.
8. Processing fee of Rs 300/- per question applicable.
9. Fee refunded if challenge is sustain ed.
10. No further communication entertained thereafter.

CEE Admit Card 2024

• The Candidate will be able to download his/her admit card from the University website www.astu.ac.in from 15 days before and upto the date of examination, by entering his/her application form number/User name and Password generated during submission of online application form
• All the candidates who have submitted the online application and paid the examination fee till last date will be allowe d to appear in CEE-2024 and their admit cards will be uploade d on the website as per the schedule
• Candidates are advised to report at the Examination Center well in advance i.e. as per the reporting time available in the admit card.

Assam CEE Result 2024

Assam CEE Result 2024 will be declared within 10 days of conduct of examination. The results will be compile d on the basis of the final answer key. No further communication with regard to answer key(s) after the last date for submission of Queries on provisional answer keys, will be considere d/entertaine d

CEE Assam 2024 Examination day Instruction

1. Applicants must bring their Admit Card/Hall Ticket along with a valid photo ID issued by the government. Only BLACK BALL POINT PENs should be use d during the exam.
2. Applicants should arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam starts to familiarize themselves with the OMR Answer Sheet.
3. Once the examination starts, Applicants will not be allow ed to enter the examination hall.
4. Applicants must fill in the details concerning the Question Paper Booklet Number, Booklet Code, and Roll Number on the OMR Answer Sheet before answering the questions.
5. The OMR Answer Sheet should be handl ed carefully, avoiding folding, wrinkling, or tearing. Only mark the answers and relevant data at appropriate places.
6. Under no circumstances will a second blank OMR Answer Sheet be provided. Applicants must handle their answer sheets carefully.
7. Applicants must maintain silence and attend to their question paper only. Any form of misbehavior or malpractice will result in disqualification.
8. Applicants are not allowe d to carry any textual material, calculators, electronic gadgets, or any other unauthorized items inside the examination hall except the Admit Card, ID proof, and Pen.
9. Applicants should find and sit on their allocated seat only. Changing rooms or seats without permission will lead to cancellation of candidature. Applicants cannot leave the examination hall until the full duration of the paper is over without permission.
