Application for Assam Nijut moina scheme is started for the academic session 2025-26. Assam Government has launched the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina scheme for financial assistance to the eligible girls’ students for their higher education.
Candidates who are pursuing HS, Graduation and post-graduation courses in govt schools can apply for this scheme. The Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina scheme will empower girls’ students and increase enrolment of girl students in higher education. The application form is released for the eligible candidates. About Assam Nijut Moina Scheme 2025
Assam government has approved the scheme named Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina 2.0 to empower girl child education. Under this scheme, a financial grant will be given to all the eligible girls students enrolled in Higher Secondary, Degree First Year and PG First Year of Government and Venture Schools, Colleges and Universities irrespective of their economic status.

Assam Nijut Moina Scheme Eligibility 2025
Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina scheme will provide a financial assistant to one million girls students. The eligibility for this scheme is follows-
- Only girl students are eligibility to apply for this scheme.
- Students enrolled in HS, UG and PG 1st year in Govt and Venture schools, college and universities are eligible for this scheme.
- MLA, Minister’s Daughters will not be eligible to take benefits of this scheme.
- Those students who will receive scooty under pragyan Bharti scooty scheme are not eligible. However, they may have choice to choose any one scheme.
Benefits of Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina 2025
- For students enrolled in Class 11 will receive Rs.1000 per month over a period of 10 months, totalling Rs.10,000
- Students who have enrolled B.A, BSc and B.Com (Graduation) first year will receive Rs.1250 every month from a period of 10 months, total Rs.12500
- For students enrolled in B.Ed, MA, MSc, and M.com first year will receive Rs.2500 every month for a period of 10Months, totalling Rs.25000
Assam Nijut Moina Registration Renewal
Students will get the benefits for 9 months for the current academic session. The application needs to be submitte d for the first years. And from the second year onwards, no application requires to be submitted. As a renewal of registration only a certificate from the head of the institution need to submit as a proof her continuity in the institution.
