NMMS 2025 Exam Pattern
National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) examination is a state level exam which is conduct ed in the month of November in Assam. Online application process for Assam NMMS scholarship exam begins from 25 July and continue until 30 September 2025.
The examination will be held on 15 November 2025 in offline mode at around 143 exam centres. The candidates who are preparing for Assam NMMS Scholarship exam for the ear 2025 must check the NMMS Exam pattern which is available below.

The syllabus of NMMS contains two papers which are in the following table.

Mental Ability Test (MAT): contains 90 questions to testing verbal and non-verbal meta cognitive abilities of students like reasoning and critical thinking.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): This test also contains 90 questions from subjects namely, science, social studies and mathematics as taught in classes VII and VIII.
NMMS 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Only the students who are studying in class 8 in Government and provincialized schools under DSE are eligible to apply for Assam NMMS Scholarship 2025.
In addition, students who are studying in private schools are also eligible to appear in NMMS exam for experience only. However, such students will not be awarde d with scholarship money.
About NMMS Scholarship 2025
The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) is a centrally sponsored scheme which was launched in 2008. Every year, The education department conducts NMMS examination to select the gifted or meritorious students for scholarship. The selected students will be awarde d Rs.12000 per annum under this scholarship scheme.
NMMS Application Fee 2025
The application fee for Assam NMMS examination is Rs.200 for UR/OBC candidates whereas for SC/ST students the fee is Rs.180 and PwD candidates the fee is Rs.175 only.

Assam NMMS Admit Card 2025
All the students who have submitted their NMMS Application form before the last date successfully. They will be able to download their NMMS Admit card through the link of bidyarthi.co.in. Assam NMMS Result 2025
The Assam NMMS will be held on 15 November 2025. Those candidates who have appeared in National means cum merit scholarships (NMMS) on 15 November 2025 will be able to download their result from the official website. The NMMS result is usually announce d as e-result booklet where contains the name, students roll number and other details of NMMS result.
