Sub Inspector of Police (UB) in Assam Police

• Total post:  144 vacancies
• Application start: 15^th October 2023
• Application end: 1st November 2023
• Candidates must register his/her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
• Eligibility Criteria:  A Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or an equivalent stream from a recognized college or institution.
• Age: You should be between 20 and 26 years old as of 1st January 2023.
• Age relaxation: as per the norms of govt.

Selection Process:

1. Written Test: 100 marks.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Oral/Viva-Voce: Maximum of 5 marks.
4. NCC Certificate: Up to 5 marks for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders.

The Final Merit List will be based on a total of 150 marks, including the written test, PET, NCC certificates, and oral/viva-voce.
