Gauhati University has introduced sylabus for B.Ed 1st and year for 2 years B.Ed degree. The duration of B.Ed course for semester system will be of two academic session. Each academic session contains two semesters 1st & 3rd from July/August to December and 2nd & 4th semester from January/February to June Each semester. All the students who are studying under Gauhati University can download the latest B.Ed syllabus. All the B.Ed colleges which are affiliated to Gauhati University follows the current B.Ed syllabus. Including theory and practical papers. The B.Ed. syllabus contains different weightages (2 and 4 credits, total of 80 credits in all) spread over four semesters. Each 2-credit paper will carry 50 marks, and each 4-credit paper 100 marks. The entire curriculum shall be of 2000 marks in total.
