Ctet cut off marks 2023 – category wise

• The Central TET was conducted on August for recruiting fresh teacher. The exam has taken on two papers i.e. paper 1 and paper 2. Applicants who have appeared in paper 1 only. They are able to apply for class 1 to class 5 teachers. And paper 2 is for class 6 to class 8 teachers.

• For that applicants have to qualify the standard marks as we know paper 1 has conducted for 150 marks in total. And paper 2 also contains 150 marks. However the minimum qualifying marks is 60% for general category applicants. And for reserved category candidates they have to secure 55% marks. So if a candidate is secured the qualifying marks out of 150 they are considered as a CTET Qualified candidate. Cut off marks category wise is given on the following table. 

• The qualifying mark of 2023 is 60% for un-reservered category. Applicants who have scored qualifying marks or above. They are considered as CTET qualified. So applicants have to secure a minimum of 90 out of the total 150 marks in the respective paper they are appearing.

• However ctet exam qualified candidate shall not confer right for the recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment as a teacher. There are many other factors that influence in the process of recruitment.

CTET Result 2023- Validity of CTET Certificate

• The Validity time of the CTET certificate is 7 years from the date of certificate issue for all category candidates.
• There is no limitation of ctet exam attempts. An applicant can attempt for the exam as many times he wants. A qualified candidate can also be appeared in the exam again.
• An Applicant can get a duplicate copy of Marks Statement by paying the prescribed fee by way of Demand Draft in favor of Secretary, CBSE. The detail for applying for duplicate certificate is available on CTET official website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in.
