Dibrugarh University B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024

Applicants who are interested to do Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Under Dibrugarh University they must fill up the application form of B.Ed Common Entrance Test. Because this B.Ed CET Exam is mendatory. The Test is conducted by the University. Once the candidate qualify the exam can apply for 2 Years B.Ed course in the university as well as the colleges which are affiliated to Dibrugarh University.

Dibrugarh University B.Ed CET 2024: Important Date

A. Eligibility Criteria (Dibrugarh University b.ed entrance)

(a) Candidate with at least 50% marks (in Aggregate) either in the Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities; OR Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology of Dibrugarh University, or any other University recognized by Dibrugarh University with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. 

a) A candidate securing 50% marks or more in the Honours / Major subject but less than 50 % in aggregate in all the courses / papers of the Bachelor’s degree will not be eligible for admission to B.Ed. programme, as the requirement is 50% marks in the aggregate.

(b)  Candidate must clear the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test conducted by the University for that academic session.

B. Reservation for ST/SC/OBC/ST

(a) Dibrugarh University b.ed entrance. There will be statutory reservation under various categories as

follows:

C. Relaxation of Marks  

 Relaxation of marks upto 5% in the qualifying examinations may be grante d to the following candidates:

1. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD categories.                                 
2. Teacher candidates with minimum of five years teaching experience in a school recognized up to 10th standard by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.

Note: A candidate can avail the benefit of relaxation of marks only in any one of the above categories.

Procedure du b.ed Entrance Application

1. Online Registration for submission of Application Form begun from 24.05.2023. Application for B.Ed. CET 2024 is through online mode only. No other means of application is accepted. The last date for submission of application is 06.06.2023 (till 5.00 p.m.) 

2. For submission of the Online Application Form, intending candidates are advised to follow the following instructions:

 a) first visit the official website www.dibru.ac.in to fillip dibrugarh university bed entrance 2024.

 b) second go through the link ‘Click here to Apply’ Link.

c)  you will be redirected to the new window online APPLICATION FORM you have to open it and fill up all the necessary information.

The Candidates need to fill-up all information correctly.

 Please note that all fields of the Application Form are mandatory.

Application process step by step

 A) During filling-up the Application Form, the Candidate needs to create a Password according to their choice for subsequent log-in to pay Application Fee and Final Submission.

 B) After completion of the filling-up the Form and uploading of the Photograph and Signature, the Candidate needs to click the button- ‘Submit and Proceed for Payment of the Application Fee’ of Rs.700/- only.

 C) In the next page, the candidate needs to log-in by entering the Mobile No. and Password for Fee Payment.

D) On Payment of the Fees, ‘Your Final Submission is done. You may take print out of your Application Form.

D) There will be a button to download your Application Form and Admit Card for future reference.

  E) The Candidate shall have to take a print out of the Admit Card and bring the same to the Examination Hall on the Date of the Test for verification.

F) The Submission of Online Application Forms shall be automatically close d after the last date.

G) There shall be no alternative procedure for Application for applying to the B.Ed. CET 2024 and the University shall not receive the Application except the procedure mentioned above.

Important Note: The University shall not verify the eligibility of a candidate at the time of receiving their Application Forms and Issuing Admit Card to them. The candidates not fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria shall not be debarred from appearing the B.Ed. CET, 2024.

 However, their candidature shall not be considered at the time of admission to the B.Ed. Programmes conducted by Dibrugarh University and its affiliated colleges. Hence, the intending candidates need to ensure themselves regarding fulfillment of the minimum eligibility for admission into the B.Ed. Programme.
