Gauhati University BTech admission 2025 eligibility
The eligibility criteria for btech admission under gauhati university are-
- The candidates must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the state Assam.
- The age of the candidate must not be less than 17 years on the date of entrance exam. In addition, there is no upper age limit.
- Candidates must pass 10+2 examination in a single sitting without any grace marks in mandatory relevant subjects and also must be passed individually both in theory and practical paper.
- Candidates must obtain at least 45% in the subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (10+2) and 40% marks in case of reserved category candidates as per AICTE approval process handbook 2024-2027.
GU BTech Entrance Exam details 2025
The syllabus of btech entrance exam will be based on the Higher Secondary curriculum provided by AHSEC. There will be 100 marks in the entrance test asking from subjects such as physics, chemistry mathematics and biology/biotechnology. Candidates will have to complete the question papers within 2 hours.
