Gauhati university pg entrance 2023:  The Online registration process will begin from 5th June and the last date for online application is 20 June 2023. All the students who want to take MA, MSc & M.com admission under Gauhati University or its main campus they have to appear in the entrance exam and must qualify higher rank to secure their admission.

The Gauhati University Post Graduate Entrance Test (GUPGET) will be held on 15-17 July 2023.  The exam is conducted in offline mode on various examination centers. The Online Application process for Gauhati University PG Entrance exam will be started from 1st week of June onwards. The students seeking PG admission MA, M.Sc or M.Com under Gauhati University they should apply online before the last date and prepared themselves for the entrance exam. The entrance exam will be held from 15-17 July 2023 on the various examination centers across the northwestern states. The exam centers are Guahati, Barpeta, Shillong, Dhubri, Tezpur, Lakhimpur, Itanagar, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, and Diphu & Silchar.

Eligibility Criteria for GU PG Admission 2023

The minimum eligibility criterion for PG Courses admission under Gauhati University is that applicants should have completed graduation degree from a recognized university or college. The eligibility criteria for M.A/ M.sc/ M.com are discussing below.

M.A. & M.Sc Courses:-

• The candidates should have passed BA/B.Sc as 10+2+3 pattern with honors in the concerned subjects.
• Candidates having B.Com with at least 40% marks (or its equivalent CGPA) in aggregate in the General Course in the pattern of 10+2+3 are eligible for pg admission.
• 45% marks will be determine in the way that marks obtained in Part 1 & 2 for courses in 2+1 pattern and on the basis of marks obtained in Part 1,2,3, if contains 1+1+1 pattern.

M.Com Course:-

• The students should have done B.Com degree in 10+2+3 pattern with Major subject.
• And B.Sc or BA in (10+2+3) pattern with General/Pass Course subjects with at least 45% marks (or its equivalent CGPA) in the concerned subject.
