Official notification is released for admission to 1st semester of LL.B. and
B.A.,LL.B/B.A.,LL.B.(H) courses on 9th September 2025. The admission is scheduled to be held on 11 September against the remaining vacant seats. The interested candidates will have to report at 10.00 a.m. positively with a copy of their application form and original documents at Room No. 23 of University Law College, Gauhati
University. From the provisional merit List, the vacant seats will be fill up, which is released 28th July, 2025.

Gauhati University LLB Entrance Result 2025
Gauti university has published the GULCET Rank list at their website for LLB admission for the session 2025-26. The GU LLB Entrance rank list of the selected applicants for admission to B.A.,LL.B./B.A.,LL.B.(Hons.) and LL.B. courses will be solely based on the Entrance Test score. Candidates who score higher marks in ULCET-2025 will be giving preference for admission.
LLB Entrance Rank list and Admission 2025
GU LLB admission is done on the basis of university law college entrance test (ULCET)2025 which conducted on 23 July 2025. The university now will announce provisional Rank list on 28 July 2025.
For admission, candidate must qualify the ULCET 2025, Moreover, merely appearing in the entrance Test does not confirm their admission. In addition, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria during the document verification of the admission process.
Gauhati university will also release the schedule and procedure for admission at their website admissions.gauhati.ac.in.
GU LLB Merit List 2025
Gauhati university LLB entrance merit list will be preparing based on the entrance test held on 23 July. The entrance exam contains 100 marks asking from different sections –
- GK: 30 Marks
- English: 30 Marks
- Mathematics: 10 Marks
- Reasoning and aptitude: 30 Marks
