Gauhati University B.Ed Entrance has been conducted on the sceduled date . The students who have been appeared in the Bed entrance exam can check their result on its official website gauhati.ac.in. The GUBEDCET is conducted every year by the university in order to enroll B.Ed courses in Gauhati University affiliated B.Ed colleges. GU B.Ed entrance result is not the final entry into B.Ed admission. You have to go through the Counselling process. GU B.Ed Entrance Merit list 2023

The Merit list (result) of GUBEDCET 2023 will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance Test. In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks, merit of such candidates shall be decided as in the following

1. Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks. students with  higher absolute value of the ratio will provide better rank.
2.  Resolution by number of unanswered questions. Candidate with less number of unattempted questions will provide better rank.
3.  If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates with higher age will provide better rank.
4.  Reservation and relaxation policy will be as per existing GU norms.
5.  Eligibility criteria will be verified by the respective colleges/institution before admission. A student can’t claim a seat who doesn’t fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned by  NCTE though his/her name appears in the merit list of  Gauhati University. College/Institution will be responsible for such anomalies detected later on.

After the declaration of gubedcet result 2023, the counselling process for bed admission 2023-2025 will be started accordingly. Moreover, the process of counselling considers the allotment of seat from Open and reserved category lists.

There are approx 38 B.Ed colleges affiliated to Gauhati University to run the B.Ed. course. Candidates have to select the college preference in which college he/she wants to take bed admission. A candidate may select many number of college. But a candidate must select a minimum of one B.Ed college. However, a candidate will not be considered for admission without selection of college preference.

After declaration of GUBEDCET Result, candidates have to take part in counceling process. It means candidates have to apply in b.ed colleges as per their preference within the time period as decided by that particular institution. After that, the college will prepare merit list category wise. If you rank good, your name will be mentioned in the merit list. However, the different college may vary the different cut off marks.
