About GURET-2025
GURET 2025 or GU Research Eligibility Test is the first screening test after the central application process (CAP) for admission into the PhD Programmes of GU, unless a candidate qualifies for an exemption. For the academic year 2025, GU will conduct the entrance test on 03 August 2025 for 100 marks. After completion the entrance exam, the department will release the GURET merit list on 8 August 2025 for counselling. The eligible candidates will have to complete their counselling process at department level. After completing the counselling, each department will prepare the GURET selection list for PhD admission as per the intake capacity and reservation policy of the university.
