IGNOU BEd Entrance 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To get B.Ed admission under IGNOU applicants need to full fill certain eligibility specified by the university. The following are the eligibility criteria for IGNOU B.Ed Course.

1. Applicants must have passed graduation or post graduation with at least 50% marks either in Bachelors or in master’s degree in Science or social science or commerce or humanity.
2. Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science & Mathematics with at least 55% marks or its equivalent degree.

Reservation Policy:

• 5% marks in minimum eligibility shall be given to ST/SC/OBC (Non-creamy-Layer) & PWD Applicants according to the rules of Central Government.
• The reservation will be given to Kashmiri migrants & war widow applicants according to the norms of the university.

IGNOU BEd entrance exam 2026 will be conducted for all ages, there is no age bar for admission into the programmes of the university. The admission is merit based. The total number of 100 questions is asked in the exam where each questions carry one marks.
