Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan which is also known as KVS, is an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It has its Headquarters office in New Delhi and 25 Regional offices located at various places in India and 1252 Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) functioning all over the country including 3 abroad. For this Kendriya Vidyalayas,’ the teaching and non-teaching staff recruitment are ongoing.

The online applications for various posts including Teaching and Non-teaching Stuff have been started from 5th December 2022. The KVS Online registration process will continue until 26th December 2022.

KVS Direct Recruitment 2022-23: Important Date

The KVS Recruitment 2022 exam will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT). Eligibility Criteria For Primary Teachers in KVS Recruitment 2022-23

Education Qualification

To apply online for the post of primary teacher in Kendriya Vidyalayas, the candidate must fulfil the required eligibility criteria as mentioned by the concerned authority. The education qualification for Kendriya Vidyalaya teacher recruitment is the following.

1. Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and two years of Diplomas in Elementary Education.
   (OR) Senior Secondary or (it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and four years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed.)

(OR)

Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and two years Diploma in Education(Special Education)

(OR)

Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)

2. Candidate must have qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-I)
conducted by the Govt. of India.

3. He or She should have Proficiency to teach Hindi & English media.

Desirable:

Knowledge of working on a Computer is preferable.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Eligibility 

1. B.Ed degree or its equivalent degree from a recognised University.
2. CTET qualified in Paper-II, conducted by CBSE under the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.
3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi as well as in English medium.

• Desirable: Having Knowledge of Computer Applications is desirable.

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Eligibility 

1. Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subjects.

• A BEd degree or its equivalent degree from a recognized University.
• Proficiency in teaching in Hindi as well as in English medium.
• Desirable: having Knowledge of Computer Applications is desirable.

KVS Teacher Recruitment 2022 Exam Pattern 

Candidate willing to be a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalayas (class 1-5) need to apply online form at kvsangathan.nic.in. The last date to apply for kvs direct recruitment 2022 is 26th December 2022.
