Amrit Kalash Yatra Assam Mur Mati Mur Desh Program

Mur Mati Mur Desh program will begin on 20^th September 2023 in the state of Assam. The Assam government has launched Mur mati mur desh program to pay tribute to the martyrs of freedom fighter of the country. The program called Amrit Kalash Yatra, which is going to begin in Assam from 20^th September.  

Amrit Kalash Yatra launched as a  part of the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign in New Delhi on 01/09/ 2023 by Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah in order to celebrate India’s 75 years of independence. Visit official website to know more details link is given below.

Amrit Kalash Yatra  2023 Assam

Amrit Kalash Yatra Assam which is starting from 20^th September 2023. In this program, as chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Ji has press meet about Amrit Kalash Yatra and said, that on 19^th September, all the deputy commissioners will organize public meetings about this yatra.

Every household in every village or ward of Assam will give a handful of soil to the group of people formed by the deputy commissioners from 20^th September to 1^st October 2023.

Amrit Kalash Yatra Activity Scheduled

• 20^th September – 1^st October 2023: Soil will be collected from every household, villages, wards.
• 2^nd October:  The team will bring the collected soils to their GP Offices.
•  8 and 15 October:  It will  send to the  development blocks.
• October 25: Each block office will send 2 kalash filled with soil to Guwahati.
• October 27: The State government will send 270 Kalash with selected candidates as Amrit Kalash Yatra  to New Delhi by the Rajdhani Express.
• September 28: Pitchers will keep at Assam House in New Delhi for their use in the Amrit Udyan under construction. Amrit Vatika, Delhi.
