The West Bengal Board of Primary Education has announced that the WB TET 2023 will take place on 24 December 2023 (Sunday). It will be held according to the NCTE guidelines and in accordance with law.

The WB Primary TET 2023 Exam Pattern is as follows:
WB Primary Teacher TET will be held on Paper 1 which is designed to recruit new Teachers for class 1 to class 5 on various government schools at West Bengal. There are total 150 questions asked in WBTeacher Eligibility exam. Each questions carry 1 marks. The total 150 questions will be asked from 5 Different sections having 30 questions from each section. WB TET Qualifying Marks 2023
A candidate of UR (General) category who will score 60% and above out of the full marks i.e 150 marks in the TET exam will be consider’ed as WB TET 2023 passed candidate.
However, 5% relaxation is provided to the reserve category SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PH, EC, Ex-Servicemen & DH (Death-in-harness) candidates. Their qualifications mark is 55%.
