West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has finally released the official notification of WB TET 2023 on the official website @wbbpe.org. The West Bengal Primary TET for the year 2023 will be held on 10.12.2023.

The WB Board of Primary Education has published the notification in order to conducted Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the purpose of recruitment of Assistant Teahcers in various Government schools across the state West BENGAL. WB Primary TET Eligibility Criteria 2023

Eligibility Criteria for Lower primary level paper 1 (Class 1 to 5) –

Age Limit:

• Applicants who are going to fill up the online application form for WB TET Exam.  Their lower age limit is 18 years.
• The upper age limit of the applying applicants should not be more than 35 years.
• Age relaxation for SC/ ST and reserved categories candidates will be given according to the norms of the state government.

Education Qualification:

•  Applicants must have passed their higher secondary or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks. Along with that the applicants must have 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (Dled).
• 5% relaxation in the Higher Secondary (H.S) will be given to the SC/ST/OBC/PH, exempted category candidates.

Note: Applicants who have completed graduation or post graduation degree with 50% marks along with B.Ed or M.Ed. They can apply for WB TET Exam. However, it is suggested to read the notification which will be released by the concerned authority to know the new eligibility criteria for WB TET Application 2023. If any changes.

WB Primary TET Exam Pattern 2023

West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WB TET) conducted on two papers. The paper-1 is for Lower Primary teachers (Class 1 to 5) and the paper-2 is for the upper primary (Class 6 to 8) teachers. The complete WB TET exam pattern are discussed below.
