WEST BENGAL NMMS Scholarship 2025

West Bengal School Education Department is going to conduct the NMMS examination for the year 2025-26 on 21 December 2025. Those students who have secured eligibility marks in qualification exam (class 8) will be able to apply for NMMSE 2025 upto 16 September 2025.

The qualify students in NMMS examination will be eligibility for the scheme WB central sector scheme National Means Merit Scholarship 2025. Here are important details of WBNMMSE 2025.

WB National Means Merit Scholarship 2025 Overview

Online application for WB NMMS scholarship  for the academic year 2025-26 started from 7^th August 2025 and the last date for application form was 9^th September which is now extended upto 16^th September 2025. WB NMMS  (NMMS) Eligibility 2025

• Students should have passed with at least 55% and above marks in the final examination of class 8th are eligible to appear in the Central Sector NMMSE 2025.
• 5% relaxation to SC, ST and Disabled candidates.
• Parental Income should be within the limit of Rs. 3,50,000/
• Per annum from all sources. In addition, the income certificate is to be uploaded during application form.

WB NMMS Examination 2025 Exam Pattern

There are two sessions in NMMSE conducted on the same day.

1.Mental Ability Test- 90 Marks

2. Scholastic Aptitude Test- 90 Marks

• Question type- MCQs
• Exam duration- 90+90=180 minutes
• Each question- carries 1 mark
• Negative mark- There is no negative mark in NMMS examination 2025.
• Although, there is no prearranged syllabus for NMMSE. However, the class 8^th, 9^th standard level questions will be asked. The scholastic aptitude test contains the following subjects.
• Mathematics
• Physical science
• Life science
• History
• Geography

WB  National Means Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMSE) 2025 application link is active now at the official website. If you are preparing for NMMS examination, then you have to apply online before the last date i.e. 16 September 2025.

Here are the process to apply online for WB NMMSE 2025 Application form.

• Go to the official website of WB SED https://banglarshiksha.wb.gov.in/scholarships/
• Then click on “New User Register Here” and complete the registration with mobile number and other details.
• Login to your account with recently created login ID and passwords.
• Fill the application form with necessary details also upload the documents in the prescribe size and format
• Download the filled application form with HOl Certificate and get the Certificate attested with official seal by HOl.
• Then scan copy of signed application form to be uploaded later to complete the application process.
• After successfully uploading document finalize the application form for final submission
